Vice President of Franchise and Market Development Jennifer Benjamin highlights what makes the Cary area a great fit for the brand
Lennys Grill and Subs is focusing expansion efforts in Cary, Raleigh and other surrounding cities in North Carolina. Jennifer Benjamin, vice president of franchise and market development, told the Cary Citizen that the restaurant has done well in the Southeast leading to further growth potential.
“It resonates with the customers here,” Benjamin said. “The Raleigh-Cary area also has a strong, diverse economy and is more stable than other parts of the country.”
Lennys Grill and Subs recently launched a re-branding effort to help fuel growth. Changes are being made not only to the look of the locations but also the menu. Lennys is adding salads and other nutrient-focused meals to appeal to a younger, health-conscious millennial market. The re-brand also emphasizes the concept's signature Philly cheesesteaks.
“The enhanced design is to attract younger people and families,” Benjamin said.
